Items purchased during a BOGO offer are viewed as a set.  If a return is necessary, each item in the pair has a new, equal value based on the order total for all the grouped items.  Returning any of the items from a BOGO offer will refund or issued store credit at the discounted value.

Example -

BOGO $29.95 and return 1 item from the BOGO your discounted value refund is $15 minus and return label fee.  Alternatively, store credit can be issued and the return label fee is waived.
